Already during his student days in Bonn, Bernd Stelter published his first albums, which are characterized by a mix of funny chansons and political songs. He also uses his unmistakable voice as a radio presenter at WDR 4, RPR or Antenne Bayern.
When Bernd Stelter debuts in November 1988 at the Cologne Carnival, it is considered a kind of accolade. After all, it is mostly Rhineland Jecken who stand as musicians or speakers in the Bütt - and he is a native of Westphalia. Today, evergreens like "I have three hairs on my chest, I'm a bear" are part of the fixed repertoire of relevant carnival meetings.

The satirical weekly review became an RTL ratings hit - in 2022, the show was back on air, and Stelter was also part of the team.
