Altın Gün are back with « Garip », their fifth album, on which the band continue their exploration of Anatolian folk with a psychedelic twist. The quintet revisit ten classics by Neşet Ertaş – a legend of folk music – and reinvent the figure of the 21st-century bard. Based in Amsterdam, the band has established itself as one of the leading lights of the contemporary Turkish psychedelic scene, and their live performances play a big part in that!
