ROOTED & RISING
In these ever-changing times, Rooted & Rising is an invitation to remember what sustains us: being deeply rooted in the earth, in the wisdom of the land and our ancestors, in the sacred, and in what truly matters.
For the first time, Ayla Schafer will go on tour with her band, accompanied by Danielle Riegel (harp) and Erik Manouz (percussion). Together, Ayla’s music takes on a new depth and richness, creating a moving, immersive journey through songs, prayers, and stories. A space emerges that is both powerful and intimate—a place to feel deeply, to remember, and to reconnect with the living earth and the wisdom within ourselves.
More than just a concert, this evening will become a space for encounter and remembrance—a journey that leads us back to our deep sense of connectedness and our belonging to life.
For when we are deeply rooted, we can rise up: resilient and courageous, open-hearted, full of love, wild, and free. We can become the people we ourselves have been waiting for so long, and carry into the world the love, courage, and hope that are needed in these times.
Ayla Schafer is a British-born singer, songwriter, and visionary artist, known as the “Voice of the Earth.” Her music blends world folk, soul, and ritual sounds into a sonic world that combines ancient wisdom with wild, primal vitality. She sings in Spanish, English, and Proto-Celtic. Her poetic songs spring from a deep connection to the Earth, an awareness of its sacredness, and the wisdom of our ancestors.
In her voice lies a wild stillness—a reminder of our origins, an openness to what is alive in the present moment, and a receptiveness to the invisible worlds. Each song is a living gift in which memory and power intertwine and find expression through melody, rhythm, and silence.
Ayla’s performances seek not so much to impress as to touch us and awaken something within us.
She creates a sacred space for reflection, deep listening, and reconnection with our inner world and the mysteries beyond what is immediately perceptible. Her music takes listeners on a
enchanting musical journey through visible and invisible worlds—toward gentleness, authenticity, and the deep sense of coming home again.
Ayla’s music is gaining an ever-growing international audience. It invites us to special encounters and quiet, profound processes of transformation. Her work unites the wisdom of our ancestors with the present, our inner being with the Earth, and the visible with the invisible. This gives rise to intense, intimate, and at the same time deeply vibrant experiences that extend far beyond the musical.
