Caroline Bungeroth - Mutausbruch

How the Berlin snark learns to “be nice” from the Swiss.
After 25 years in Berlin, Caroline Bungeroth has moved to Bern. She leaves out just two letters and focuses on what really matters. It can’t be that hard! At least in theory.

But when the Prussian big-city struggle for survival clashes with Swiss coziness, misunderstandings are bound to happen: Cycling through Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg can’t be that different from cycling up the nearest Swiss mountain! Or can it?

But she reminds herself, “I breathe in—I’m not losing my cool yet,” and turns her outburst of anger into an outburst of courage. That’s how the Berlin sharp tongue learns “kindness” from the Swiss.

“Outburst of Courage” offers a way out of the dead end of anger and encourages you to navigate life’s twists and turns with a liberating smile.

As refreshing and profound as ever
