DANIEL LEVY, piano
The world-renowned classical pianist Daniel Levy is one of the most important exponents of the Vincenzo Scaramuzza school. Critically acclaimed as 'one of the leading pianists of our time', Daniel Levy's ability to build an intimate connection with the audience through the 'passionate thoughtfulness' of his playing led Fanfare Magazine's Ian Lace, in his article 'A Complete Musician', to proclaim that 'if the future of music is in the hands of musicians like Daniel Levy, then, personally, I do not think there is much to worry about.'
Throughout a successful career, Levy has performed in some of the most prestigious live venues in the world, with orchestras such as the Philharmonia Orchestra, the Prague Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra Reina Sofía and the Turin Philharmonic Orchestra, among others. Key collaborators have included Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Wolfgang Holzmair, Zurich String Quartet, Amati String Quartet, Mendelssohn Quartet, Carmina Quartet and the Berlin Philharmonic Quartet.
