Event Information
Hanspeter Müller und Peter Gisler - Hiäsigs
Hiäsigs Hanspeter Müller-Drossaart, a native of Obwalden with a mother from Nidwalden who grew up in the canton of Uri, is referring to precisely these places when he writes and speaks about “Hiäsigs.” He has a very keen ear and a keen sense for different dialects, each with its own unique musicality. And he is a master at recreating them; he is also an attentive observer of everyday situations, which he captures in condensed language: sometimes cheerful, sometimes ironic, sometimes surprising, and often profound. “Hiäsigs” is a musical reading featuring texts by and with Hanspeter Müller-Drossaart and Peter Gisler, who uses his double bass and Schwyzerörgeli to give the texts a lingering resonance and tells stories in his own way.
