Okvsho +Experience

Okvsho is one of the most exciting and promising projects on the modern European jazz scene. The duo consists of the two brothers Christoph and George Kiss from Zurich, who seamlessly interweave their musical backgrounds in beatmaking and electronic music with the sounds of Europe's young, vibrant jazz scene, constantly discovering new musical territory. Her live band project Okvsho +Experience, which celebrates improvisation, spontaneity and jazz as dance music, emerged from her collaboration with local musicians.

Almost three years after the acclaimed Orange Wine EP and three international tours, the duo are back with their fourth project A Place Between Us. The album is more personal and bold than ever before and offers a deep insight into the thoughts, feelings and experiences of the last two years. Okvsho's characteristic style has evolved once again: Organic and electronic elements merge with beautiful harmonies and expressive rhythms. The second LP is also the first full-length project on the newly founded Zurich label Current Moves, with which the Kiss brothers want to actively shape the young jazz scene that inspires them and of which they are an integral part.
