“CONCERT IN HONOR OF ROBY SEIDEL”
SPECIAL EVENING AT THE ANSERMET AUDITORIUM
BBDSR: 15 of the region’s finest musicians
What could be more fitting than the Ansermet Auditorium to host the formidable Big Band De Suisse Romande, which will pay a moving tribute to our dear friend and musician Roby Seidel. Roby, a leading figure in the world of big bands and a baritone saxophonist who passed away too soon in 2014, was an outstanding musician, composer, and arranger of the highest caliber, combining elegance and Harmonie. Radio personality and producer Pascal Bernheim said of him: “Roby Seidel was an extraordinary man with a multitude of unexpected facets. When it came to music, he placed great importance on rhythm and strove for perfection. He was a true professional, but he also knew how to slip a touch of humor into everyday life.” A memorable evening is in store! Swing
