Jazz, fusion, rhythm & blues, funk, pop jazz—there are many labels that have been applied to the American saxophonist David Sanborn, that genius “jack-of-all-trades” who passed away in 2024. His countless collaborations with music legends are too numerous to count: Stevie Wonder, James Brown, David Bowie, Sting, the Brecker Brothers, Gil Evans, Marcus Miller, Kenny Barron, and so many others. This certainly deserves a heartfelt tribute, led by Stefano Saccon and the distinguished professors of the EMA, who will bring the highlights of this dazzling career back to life. A high-energy evening! Jazz fusion/funk
