As a member of the legendary and media-savvy duo “Les deux Vincent,” Vincent Kucholl has been bringing to life numerous funny and quirky characters for over a decade on Radio Télévision Suisse (RTS), both on the radio show “120 secondes” and the weekly TV show “52 minutes.” Over the years, the comedian and actor has carved out a solid place for himself in the Swiss theater and film scene, recently taking on the role of secret-service fanatic Jonas Bornard in “Bon Schuur Ticino” and that of a police officer from the Lower Valais in “Tschügger.”

To be successful in the business world, you have to understand others’ desires before they even express them. Successful investor Reto Zenhäusern generously shares his knowledge of the human psyche with the audience, having spent more than 30 years exploring it in order to turn it into capital.

In this show, which takes the form of a multimedia conference, Reto Zenhäusern reflects on inequalities, work, collective myths, and the established order. In a world where productivity is skyrocketing and automation is advancing, he questions the true role of work with the dispassionate eye of an economist, but also with a surprising ability to incorporate iconoclastic ideas.

Reto alternately takes on the roles of economist, sociologist, anthropologist, or historian and tackles unexpected questions: Why are poor people ugly? How does the luxury industry manage to make the rich inspire the poor to dream, even though the poor would actually prefer to kill them? Why do we keep having children? Why do we keep going to museums? Why do we keep straightening our hair?

With his characteristic biting irony, Reto paints a portrait of humanity that works, has children, pets its cats, and consumes in order to forget the absurdity of its existence.
