A Daylong Journey into the Healing Power of Being Human

A day to remember the humanity within us, and how deeply healing our humanity can be for each and every one of us.

The day will unfold as one continuous journey of growth and discovery.

We will weave together threads of experience through shared singing and prayer, touching the many layers that create connection and closeness between us.

We will share experiences and stories from our lives — perhaps some that have never been brought into the light. Stories and feelings longing to be seen and acknowledged, which may have been unconsciously creating heaviness, burden, or stagnation in our lives. By bringing them into the space between us, we invite new movement into our lives.

We will enter a ritual of release, making space for grief and for the burdens we carry in our hearts at this time.

We will explore and feel how we can support one another through the particular season of life we are living.

Together, we will hold a space of love, being seen, and generosity toward one another.

We will close the day with gratitude for all that is here, and with tools to help us integrate the experience into the journey ahead.

Music will be both the earth beneath our feet, offering support, and the wings that allow us to fly.

Together, we will create a generous, supportive space filled with trust and safety — a space where we can lay ourselves bare, vulnerable and wide open, with all our cracks and broken places.

A Space for Whatever Arises

This day may stir waves of emotion in many different ways, and to me, this is a welcome part of the journey.

We will learn to ride these waves, allowing them to open us and to cleanse us, to let something move through us and be released.

Much like immersing ourselves in the clear, pure waters of a natural spring.

Who Is This For?

This day is for anyone who wishes to draw closer to themselves, to their heart, and to the spirit of goodness within them.

For anyone carrying burdens or holding things that have yet to be released, and who feels that the time has come.

Perhaps grief for someone dear and beloved, old anger, longing, heartbreak, an unfulfilled childhood, needs that went unmet as a child, or anything else that still lives within you and asks to be acknowledged.

For anyone who wishes to give expression and intention to the quiet stirrings of the heart.

For anyone loging to feel human again — fully, deeply, and anew.

Practical Details

Please bring:

* Comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely

* A personal water bottle

* A journal or notebook

* A shawl or tallit to cover yourself with

* A comfortable cushion for sitting, or a chair
