Advance ticket sales for the fourth year of the “Bucket List” tour will begin on Ticketcorner on October 1 at 12:00 p.m. Jonny Fischer and Manu Burkart will perform at eight venues in German-speaking Switzerland from November 4, 2026, through May 29, 2027. Before that, they spent a summer in front of the camera.
Advance ticket sales were originally scheduled for September 16. Divertimento has postponed them by two weeks. The duo cites logistical and organizational challenges as the reason. The side effect is good news for fans: more tickets will go on sale than originally planned. The new date is Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 12 p.m. on ticketcorner.ch. Members of the Ticketcorner Live Club can purchase tickets as early as September 29.
There’s a backstory to the postponement. Jonny and Manu interrupted their tour this summer to shoot their first feature film. Filming began on June 1 in Gran Canaria and continued in Zurich and the canton of Zug starting in July. The last take was shot in August. The film, with the working title “It Takes Two To Tango,” is a buddy movie about two friends whose relationship suddenly comes under strain. It is directed by Markus Welter, with a screenplay by Jonny Fischer, Martin Walz, and Welter. The film is set to hit theaters in late summer 2027. Manu Burkart made it clear to SRF: The film will not be a slapstick comedy. About a third of the story actually happened that way. Which third, however, remains the two men’s secret.
“Bucket List” is Divertimento’s sixth feature-length production. And the last. Jonny and Manu announced this on September 14, 2023, five days before the premiere in Basel. They want to quit while they’re ahead. The show celebrates the duo’s 25th anniversary—and it’s a clean sweep. Ideas that have been left on the back burner over the years are now making it to the stage—along with the cult characters. Abwart Mäge now works as a zookeeper. The free-jazz musicians Thomas and Markus get into a fight between the opera house and the train underpass. And die-hard stoner Gian-Franco, working as a stagehand, is looking for work that’s already been done. Add to that slapstick, situational comedy, and songs with hidden meanings. The basic conflict is simple: Manu still wants to try out a lot of things on stage. Jonny knows exactly what he never wants to perform again. They debate this for two hours.
Demand has remained the same since the first season: high. The 60 shows of the first tour year sold out in May 2023 within three hours, with only a few individual seats remaining. For the second year, around 75,000 tickets for 44 performances were sold—again, all sold out. The third tour year, from September 2025 to January 2026, was also sold out. In August 2025, the duo received the Honorary Award at the Swiss Comedy Awards.
The story began in 1999 in the music room of the St. Michael Teachers’ College in Zug. Manu was practicing the piano, and Jonny sang along. Their first premiere, “Kultimulturell,” followed in Baar in 2001, and in 2005, both resigned from their teaching positions. This was followed by “ZuvieliSation,” “Plan B,” “Gate 10,” and “Sabbatical.” Every show has been sold out since 2008. In 2015, Divertimento became the first Swiss comedians to fill the Hallenstadion—twice in a row—in front of over 17,000 people. “Sabbatical” ran for 297 shows and drew over 400,000 audience members. In total, they’ve performed over 2,000 shows in 27 years. They’ve also won several Prix Walo awards, released platinum DVDs, and even been honored with a special postage stamp from the Swiss Post.
In addition to their stage work, both are active in television. Manu is on the road for SRF’s “Hüttengeschichten,” while Jonny hosts “Game of Switzerland.” Both shows continued to air while the tour was on hiatus.
When announcing their farewell, Jonny and Manu spoke of four to five years on tour. The fourth year is now getting underway, kicking off on November 4, 2026, in Basel. This will be followed by Hochdorf, St. Gallen, Bern, Kriens, Dübendorf, and Zurich. Chur will be added in May 2027. The final show of this tour year will take place on May 29, 2027, in Dübendorf.
Divertimento sells its tickets exclusively through ticketcorner.ch. The duo expressly warns against resale platforms such as Viagogo. The number of tickets is limited, and purchases can only be made online. If you won’t be in front of your screen at 12:00 p.m. on October 1, it’s best to sign up for the ticket alert. For this duo, even three hours has been a long time so far.
