Fabio Landert from St. Gallen has become one of the most successful stand-up comedians in Switzerland. With his current stage program "The Forbidden Fruit", the award-winning comedian from Eastern Switzerland is not only delighting audiences at home, but is also conquering German and Austrian stages.
Landert's path was unpredictable. After completing his commercial training, he worked as an insurance consultant and roller shutter salesman. His first comedy texts originated from diary entries. What began in 2018 as a shy "Hey" developed into a career with an authentic and dry style.
In 2019, Landert won the Swiss Comedy Award in the "SRF Young Talents Award" category and was the first Swiss to win the "NightWash Talent Award" in Germany. This double award catapulted him into the premier league of the German-speaking comedy scene.
