At a time when comedy often comes across as gentle satire, Lisa Eckhart remains the fearless provocateur. The 34-year-old Austrian, who has already caused a stir several times with her sharp intellect and taboo-breaking humor, is launching her new solo program "Ich war mal wer" in 2026.

The "childhood joke" to which Eckhart refers remains deliberately vague - but fans and critics can guess: It's about the controversies that have overshadowed her career for years. In times of cancel culture and heated debates about the limits of satire, Eckhart positions herself as the one who laughs from the abyss.
