Markus Maria Profitlich: "I'm very, very rarely stressed"

31/12/2016 written by Nina Müller
His new program is called "Schwer im Stress", but in his private life, German comedian Markus Maria Profitlich is a laid-back contemporary. In an interview, he told us what keeps him calm - and this year he has the last word in the Ticketcorner blog.
When was the last time you were stressed, Mr. Profitlich?

I don't like to let myself get stressed. I'm very, very rarely stressed. But at the moment we have a puppy at home - my daughter wanted a dog, and who is outside every two hours? Me!
What was the last vacation destination where you were able to really relax?

Last year, I went on a week-long trip with my wife - we have a small cabin cruiser - to France, from the Rhine to the Moselle and France. That was extremely relaxing, it really slows you down when you're chugging along the Moselle at five or six kilometers per hour.
What were you surprised about recently?

About Donald Trump's election success. I was more than surprised.
What was the last concert you went to?

Simply Red at the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg. That was very, very good. I grew up with this music and Mick Hucknall is still a great musician.
When was the last time you cooked for your family?

About an hour ago. Oh, it was delicious, I made it for the first time: I had chicken breast fillet, cut up, pounded flat and then stuffed with Parma ham and dried dates.
When and where was the last time you danced?

At my friend Horst's sixtieth birthday. To the sound of Earth, Wind and Fire.
What's the last thing you take with you to a desert island?

Donald Trump.
