The last word - Ralf Schmitz: "I have a crush"

28/02/2017 written by Nina Müller
Loriot fan and high-voltage comedian Ralf Schmitz (42) pokes fun at his school days in his sixth program "Schmitzenklasse" - at the end of the month, he has the last word with us.

When was the last time you fell in love with a cat?
Ralf Schmitz:I actually came across one a few weeks ago. She suddenly turned up on my balcony doorstep, no collar, no chip, no animal shelter looking for her, a bit feral. She just won't leave, lies on my carpet like it's hers and screams at me when she's hungry. I think she's decided she lives with me now. In love. What can you do.

What was the last thing you wondered about?
The fact that the "Yps" magazine is back - but now for adults.

What was the last thing you were ashamed of?
I was confused and stood naked in the hotel corridor late at night because I'd just woken up with the previous hotel room on my mind. But nobody saw it. That's why I was only ashamed for the brief moment of shock.

What was the last concert you went to?
I went to the Broadway musical "Chicago" in New York. Awesome!

When was the last time you really cooked yourself up?
Yesterday. The oven buns were briquettes.

When and where was the last time you danced?
In New York. In a cool club where you had the feeling Fred Astaire was about to walk in.

On what occasion and in what setting did you last flirt?
On stage with an audience member, during an improvised scene. It was actually professional and in a role, but she grabbed my bottom. She was about 65 years old. I think we're together now.
