A Perfect Circle will play a concert in Zurich on June 18, 2026. It is part of their first European tour since 2018. The show offers a reunion with a project that combines dark art rock with conceptual depth.
After a long live break in Europe, A Perfect Circle will return in summer 2026 with a tour lasting several weeks. Between June 3 and July 4, the band is expected to play 14 concerts in major cities such as London, Berlin, Amsterdam and Stockholm.
The performance in Zurich on June 18 is the only date in Switzerland. After years of silence, the band is sending out a clear signal that they are returning to the stage.
In the past, the band has headlined international festivals and performed in well-known venues such as the Hollywood Bowl, Madison Square Garden and Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
A Perfect Circle are considered one of the few side projects that have grown independently. Founded by Billy Howerdel and Maynard James Keenan, the band combines orchestral arrangements, progressive rhythms and haunting melodies.
Their debut album "Mer de Noms" (2000) is considered a milestone in alternative rock. It achieved the highest chart entry of a rock album at the time and contained singles such as "Judith" and "3 Libras".
The music moves between art rock, alternative metal and experimental rock aesthetics. Albums such as "Mer de Noms" (2000) and "Thirteenth Step" (2003) are complex and accessible at the same time. The albums are characterized by a melancholic mood and poetic lyrics.
Live, A Perfect Circle are less a performance than a production: sophisticated sound design, minimalist lighting and an almost theatrical stage set. Keenan acts in the background, the music remains the focus.
A new studio album has not been announced. The setlist will therefore probably be based on the established repertoire. From the early 2000s to the last release "Eat the Elephant" (2018).
"Eat the Elephant" entered the Billboard 200 at number 3 and topped the Billboard Rock Albums chart. It showed a stylistic evolution: fewer guitars, more piano and electronic elements, without losing the core of the band.
The Zurich concert should cover exactly this range: from powerful riffs to introspective moments. Not a nostalgic best-of, but a deliberate highlight in the European concert calendar.
