The German pop band AnnenMayKantereit, whose songs always have a hint of indie, recently wowed audiences at the Openair St. Gallen 2025 with an energetic set. Next year they will go on tour and in autumn 2026 they will make a stop in Switzerland: on September 26, they will perform at the Hallenstadion Zurich.
Last weekend, AnnenMayKantereit played in front of thousands of fans at the St. Gallen Openair. Their performance was characterized by a balanced mix of new songs and classics. Especially the rough voice of singer Henning May filled the festival area impressively. Despite the hot temperatures, the audience stayed with them until the last song. The band proved once again why they are one of the defining voices of the German-speaking music scene.
Immediately after the festival, AnnenMayKantereit announced their big tour for 2026. It starts in July, with many concerts in Germany. This will be followed by concerts in Austria and finally on 26.09.2026 at the Hallenstadion Zurich in Switzerland. A few days ago, AnnenMayKantereit released their new song "Nur wir beide". Fans can hope that more new songs will be presented on the tour.
AnnenMayKantereit are known for their intense stage presence. Live, they rely on a handmade sound, clear arrangements and a direct approach through their music. The setlists combine old hits such as "Pocahontas" with current songs. The audience can look forward to an emotional concert experience without a lot of staging. The band remains true to itself and focuses on its musical substance.
The band is currently working on new music. It remains to be seen whether a new album will be released before the start of the tour. Fans can look forward to the first insights in Zurich. AnnenMayKantereit keep moving without succumbing to trends.
