When Ariana first appeared on screen as Cat Valentine in the TV series “Victorious” in 2010, very few people could have imagined what a great artist she would become. Sixteen years, numerous films, and eight albums later, she is a three-time Grammy Award winner and one of the most famous artists in the world.
“petal” is the title of Ariana Grande’s new album. It’s the eighth studio album by this exceptional artist and features twelve tracks. She wrote and produced it together with the Swedish-Iranian songwriter ILYA. Max Martin joins them as a co-writer and producer on three songs. We’ve been hearing the first single, “hate that i made you love me,” on repeat on the radio since the end of May. Now the eleven other tracks are here, too—and they’re no less profound than the lead single.
Ariana herself described her album in a pre-release announcement and in interviews with several media outlets as “something that’s full of life and grows through the cracks of something cold, hard, and challenging.”
Ariana Grande is currently (from early June through early August) performing in several North American cities. Starting August 15, 2026, she has ten shows scheduled in London. She’ll certainly be performing songs from her new album there as well. However, the tour schedule currently doesn’t include any other European cities.
