An era is coming to an end: after more than three decades, countless concerts and countless nights on the tour bus, Die Fantastischen Vier are announcing their final tour: "Der letzte Bus - Final Tour 2026-2028".
"It's there once again - with the engine running, parking lights and that very special anxiety before every departure," says the announcement. And it does indeed feel like the last great departure: The legendary quartet of Smudo, Thomas D, Michi Beck and And.Ypsilon are going on one last big trip - with a new show and one last musical firework display for their fans.
Since their debut "Jetzt geht's ab" (1991) and their breakthrough with "Die da!?!?" in 1992, the Fantastischen Vier have been regarded as pioneers of German-language hip-hop. They made rap socially acceptable on the radio, demonstrated wit, attitude and intelligence - and became the voice of several generations. Songs such as "MFG", "Troy", "Sie ist weg" and "Zusammen" have left their mark on the collective musical memory.
"The farewell tour is intended to bring together everything that makes this band special: energy, joy of playing and the close connection to their fans," the quartet announces.
"For all those who say: 'I've never seen them live. Or: The last time was far too long ago'. For all those who know why this has always been more than just music," write the four.
Around 18 months on the road are planned - with stops in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In Zurich, the Fantastischen Vier will perform at the Hallenstadion on January 19, 2027. Tickets are available from Wednesday, November 12.
It won't be over completely after all, Fanta 4 announced in the German magazine "Stern". They said there that it was not a complete retreat from the public eye, but a farewell to the big mammoth tours - they are not ruling out selective appearances or new music in the future.
