The legendary rock band Foreigner will be making a stop at the Hallenstadion Zurich on June 25, 2026 as part of their "50th Anniversary Tour" - their only appearance in Switzerland. Live Club members can already secure tickets now, with public pre-sales starting on September 8, 2025 at 11 a.m.
Foreigner has been one of the most successful classic rock acts since the 1970s. With more than 80 million records sold, 16 top 30 hits and 10 multi-platinum albums, they have written music history. Songs such as "Cold As Ice", "Urgent", "Waiting for a Girl Like You", "Juke Box Hero" and "I Want To Know What Love Is" are part of the soundtrack of several generations.
The 50th Anniversary Tour offers a cross-section of the band's entire career - from their early successes to timeless classics. A highlight is the change at the microphone: Luis Maldonado will take over the vocals from fall 2025, while Kelly Hansen will retire after more than 20 years as lead singer. Together with Jeff Pilson (bass), Michael Bluestein (keyboards), Bruce Watson (guitar) and Chris Frazier (drums), Foreigner will deliver a rousing concert that includes all the great hits.
In 2024, Foreigner was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame - proof that the band has lost none of its appeal even after five decades. With over 15 million streams per week and the use of their songs in series such as "Stranger Things" and "Wednesday" as well as films such as "The Eternals", their sound remains present even among a young audience.
