Gianna Nannini is celebrating the 50th anniversary of her debut album and will perform in Zurich on October 29, 2027.
Gianna Nannini released her first album in 1976. Five decades later, the singer is still active and is presenting “Giannagold – Celebration Tour – Live 2027,” a project that traces her career from its beginnings to the present day. On October 29, 2027, the tour will also make a stop in Zurich.
Since her breakthrough in the 1980s, Gianna Nannini has been one of Italy’s best-known musicians. Songs like “Fotoromanza,” “Bello e impossibile,” “I maschi,” and “Meravigliosa creatura” made her famous in German-speaking countries as well. Over the years, she has continued to develop her style, regularly releasing new albums and embarking on international tours.
The current tour centers on the album “Giannagold, ” which is set to be released in November 2026. The album features 29 songs, including four new tracks and ten orchestral re-arrangements. According to the official announcement, the project is intended as a retrospective celebrating the 50th anniversary of the release of her debut album.
The Gianna Nannini concert in Zurich on October 29, 2027, is part of the European “Giannagold – Celebration Tour – Live 2027.” Unlike a traditional album tour, the focus is not on a single release, but rather on a project that brings together various milestones from her long career. Zurich is one of the European tour stops outside of Italy.
