The Swiss rock band Gotthard will be performing in Chur on September 11, 2026. The concert will take place as part of the opening of the new AREON Eventhalle Chur. The main hall can accommodate up to 6,500 visitors on an area of around 3,200 square meters.
Gotthard has been one of Switzerland's best-known rock bands since the 1990s. An extensive introduction is actually superfluous. When the band was founded in Lugano in 1992, hardly anyone could have guessed that it would be influential for decades to come - even beyond the country's borders. The distinctive voice of Steve Lee played a central role in this, having a lasting influence on Gotthard's sound. But even after the death of the lead singer, the band continued their musical direction with their new lead singer Nic Maeder.
Even though no tour has been announced for 2026, fans don't have to miss out on the typical Gotthard sound. The band will be performing at various venues in Switzerland and nearby countries. Various festivals are also included. For example, they can be seen at the Riverside Festival in Aarburg, the SummerDays Festival in Arbon and the Seaside Festival in Spiez.
