Kool Savas is coming to Zurich on January 21, 2028. Halle 622 will be a stop on his new arena tour. The evening will combine classics with newer songs and showcase an artist who has continued to evolve over the decades.
His career began in Berlin’s rap underground scene of the 1990s. M.O.R. and Westberlin Maskulin helped hone his technical style early on. In 2002, he released his solo debut, *Der beste Tag meines Lebens* (The Best Day of My Life). This marked the beginning of a new chapter in his career as a solo artist. His “Märtyrer” tour had already brought him to Zurich in 2015.
Hardly any other artist has shaped German-language rap over such a long period as Kool Savas. With songs like «King of Rap,» «Der beste Tag meines Lebens,» and later «Aura,» he established himself as one of the most technically skilled and influential rappers on the scene. His precise rhyme structures, his flow, and his knack for catchy hooks have made him a benchmark for countless rappers across generations.
He also made a significant impact beyond his solo albums. Projects like «One» with Azad and, later, his collaboration with Sido on «Royal Bunker» rank among the defining releases in German rap. Throughout his career, he consistently managed to evolve his style without losing sight of the roots of his music.
In 2025, he released his seventh studio album, «Lan Juks.» The album looks back on formative phases of his life and his early rap roots without getting stuck in the past. Rather, it combines the experiences of an established artist with the energy that has defined Kool Savas since his beginnings.
Fans can look forward to a set that combines classics with newer material. Live rap without playback, driven by the precision and stage presence that have made Kool Savas one of the most important voices in German-language hip-hop for decades.
The German tour kicks off on January 7 in Frankfurt. After stops in Cologne and Hamburg, the show moves to the arena in Zurich on January 21.
Tickets will go on sale for Live Club members on September 9, 2026, at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available to the general public starting September 11 at 10 a.m.
