Marteria is coming to the Volkshaus in Zurich with “Zum Glück in die Zukunft”

Marteria has completed his album trilogy. Following his arena tour through Germany, the Rostock-based rapper will perform in Zurich in the summer of 2027. He’ll take the stage at the Volkshaus on June 22.

The announcement was made on the beach. In Warnemünde, Marteria gave a surprise concert in the summer of 2025. It had only been announced the day before. Over 15,000 fans showed up anyway. There, he performed “Babylonia” live for the first time—the lead single from *Zum Glück in die Zukunft III*.

The album was released in April 2026. It concludes a series that has shaped his career. Marten Laciny achieved his breakthrough with the first installment and songs like “Endboss” and “Verstrahlt.” In 2012, he topped the German singles charts with “Lila Wolken.” “Zum Glück in die Zukunft II” followed in 2014, debuting at No. 1 on the album charts and going platinum. Since then, Marteria has been filling large venues.

“Indirectly political and very personal”

“Babylonia” explores the feeling of being constantly overwhelmed—and the search for stability. Marteria himself describes the new album as indirectly political and very personal.

In the fall of 2026, he toured German arenas with it, from Rostock to Cologne and Berlin to Hanover. Now, under the title “Hot Summer 2027,” the summer tour is coming. Zurich will host him at the Volkshaus. The venue is significantly smaller than the arenas on the German tour. Anyone standing here is right up close.

Marteria grew up in Rostock. As a teenager, he played soccer for Hansa Rostock; later, he worked as a model in New York. Then came music.

The concert will take place on Tuesday, June 22, 2027, at the Volkshaus in Zurich. Tickets will be available starting Friday, October 16, 2026, at 11 a.m., at Ticketcorner.
