With «Love Is Like», Maroon 5 are back after a four-year album break. The new long-player combines catchy pop hooks with soulful and electronic elements. From October, the band will be taking their fresh sound on a major US stage tour.
With over 120 million albums sold, the US band Maroon 5 is one of the best-known and most influential pop-rock bands of all time. It has already been four years since the release of the band's last album with frontman Adam Levine. So it was about time for some new music.
«Love Is Like» is the Los Angeles band's eighth studio album and is characterized by a return to their roots. It is also the first album since «Overexposed» (2012) to feature other band members as songwriters alongside Adam Levine. The album combines catchy pop melodies with soulful arrangements and electronic textures. The sound is both familiar and surprising at the same time.
The band has announced their next big tour to coincide with the album release. The tour kicks off on October 6 in Phoenix before Maroon 5 travels through numerous US cities. Performances are planned in arenas from Austin to New York, with the finale taking place in Detroit at the end of November. The tour will showcase the new sound live and also include some classics in the set.
A European tour has not yet been announced. But who knows, maybe Maroon 5 will soon fly across the pond with their new album and honor their fans in Europe live. In any case, the ticket alert will keep fans up to date with concert dates.
