The British band’s fifth album is harder, rawer, and less playful. On January 18, 2027, Nothing But Thieves will take the stage at The Hall to perform their new album. A must-see and must-hear!
Anyone who still considers Nothing But Thieves an “insider tip” has been out of the loop for a few years. With “Stray Dogs,” the band from Southend presents their fifth studio album. The guitars are heavier, and the electronic flourishes are fewer. The big anthems give way to a more edgy sound.
At the heart of it all is the single “Evolution”: a track that builds up and then explodes. It’s a real treat for the ears. In between, the band treats listeners to quieter moments like “I Needed You Then I Need You Now.” Conor Mason’s voice reigns supreme over it all. From a delicate falsetto to a full-throated outburst, he draws on the entire range. Boom!
