From 26 to 29 June 2025, the Sittertobel in St.Gallen will once again become a lively festival microcosm: music, history and community are on the program for four days at OpenAir St.Gallen.
OpenAir St.Gallen has been rocking since 1977 and is one of the oldest open-air festivals in Switzerland. The festival started out as a manageable event in Abtwil and moved to Sittertobel in 1981, where it soon welcomed over 10,000 visitors.
A temporary festival ecosystem with a tent city, six stages, regional food and plenty of nature has now been created for four days directly on the banks of the Sitter. Festival fans can look forward to more than 60 live acts and over 40 DJs at the 2025 edition. The capacity is around 30,000 visitors per day. In total, around 110,000 people will visit OpenAir St.Gallen over the four days of the festival. Despite this, or perhaps precisely because of this, great importance is attached to ecological management: sustainable waste disposal, public transport cooperation and regional supplies.
This year's line-up once again promises many highlights. Here is a small but fine selection:
The complete line-up can be found on the OpenAir St.Gallen website.
