On July 4, 2026, The Black Crowes will finally be back live on stage in Europe - at Halle 622 in Zurich! The legendary Southern rock band from the USA has been delighting fans with a mixture of blues, rock and soul for over three decades. Shortly before the Zurich gig, the band's new studio album "A Pound of Feathers" will be released on March 13, 2026. The album with eleven tracks was recorded in just eight to ten days and combines The Black Crowes' typical mix of blues, soul and rock with fresh energy.
The singles "Profane Prophecy" and "Pharmacy Chronicles", which show new facets of the classic Crowes sound, have already been released as a foretaste. As the album release is only a few months before the concert, fans in Zurich can look forward to live versions of the new songs - a highlight that will make the concert something special.
The band was founded at the end of the 1980s in Atlanta, Georgia, by brothers Chris (vocals) and Rich Robinson (guitar) and has been one of the most influential acts in rock ever since. Their debut album "Shake Your Money Maker" (1990) immediately catapulted them into the charts and brought them international attention.
