On Saturday, 30 May 2026, it will be loud, colorful and emotional in Eastern Switzerland: The Schlagerfestival St.Gallen celebrates its premiere. From 7 pm, the Olma trade fair will be transformed into a pop arena.
The venue is the St.Galler Kantonalbank Hall on the grounds of Olma Messen St.Gallen. Thanks to its central location, good public transport connections and varied catering options, a visit to the festival will be an all-round relaxed evening - from the first drink to the last encore. The new event format is based on concentrated event experience: as a joint production of Olma Messen St.Gallen, Silberberger Management and Gade World, a musical highlight with regional ties and national appeal is being created here.
The line-up combines well-known names from the German-language pop scene with artists from Switzerland.
Maite Kelly is at the center of the evening. The singer began her career in the 1990s as a member of the family band The Kelly Family, with whom she enjoyed great success throughout Europe. After her solo reorientation, she established herself as a permanent fixture in German-language pop music. With songs such as "Warum hast du nicht Nein gesagt" (in duet with Roland Kaiser), "Sieben Leben für dich", "Heute Nacht für immer" or "Ich brauch einen Mann", she reached a wide audience and regular chart positions.
Alpenland Sepp will host the evening and ensure a structured program.
