Simple Minds will perform at the Hallenstadion in Zurich on April 19, 2027, as part of their exclusive «V» Tour. At their only Swiss concert, Simple Minds will focus particularly on their new album, «Sacrosanct». Level 42 will perform as a special guest.
For nearly 50 years, Simple Minds have enjoyed sold-out concerts, a large and loyal fan base, and international success. This includes, not least, their recent «Global Tour», during which they performed for a total audience of over 1.5 million people. With their new «V» Tour, they’re celebrating these decades—including with new music. One of these dates will take them to the Hallenstadion in Zurich on April 19, 2027, for their only concert in Switzerland. They’ll be joined by Level 42 as a special guest.
At the heart of Simple Minds’ new tour is their 19th studio album. «Sacrosanct» will be released on January 29, 2027, and was announced a few days ago with the first single, «Beginner Boys». The band blends their new music with the many experiences drawn from their long history. On their «V» tour, they’ll perform the album’s songs live in front of an audience for the first time.
At the European concerts, Simple Minds will be joined by a special guest. Level 42 will perform as the opening act and is just as well-established as Simple Minds.
