Take That is one of the few pop groups of their generation that continues to regularly release new music and go on tour more than three decades after their formation. On June 3, 2027, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, and Mark Owen will perform at Unique Moments in Zurich. The concert comes at a time when the band is working on its tenth studio album and is once again in the public spotlight.
When Take That was formed in Manchester in 1989, hardly anyone could have imagined that the group would still be active decades later. With albums like *Everything Changes*, *Nobody Else*, and later *Beautiful World*, the band evolved far beyond the classic boy band image. Their breakup in 1996 was followed by a reunion in 2005, which led to numerous further chart successes. Today, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, and Mark Owen make up Take That’s permanent lineup.
The band’s career has rarely followed a straight path. Lineup changes, the temporary return of Robbie Williams, and several stylistic shifts have ensured that Take That has continually reached new audiences over the years.
For Take That, 2026 isn’t just about looking back on past successes. Their tenth studio album is set to be released later this year. At the same time, a documentary about the band garnered attention in early 2026 and immediately reached number one on the Netflix charts.
Their performance at Unique Moments is thus part of an active phase in the band’s history. Concertgoers will have the opportunity to experience a group that continues to release new music and regularly expands its repertoire. This makes the current tour just as interesting for longtime fans as it is for an audience that has only discovered Take That in recent years.
Unique Moments will take place from May 31 to June 4, 2027, transforming the courtyard of the Landesmuseum into a concert stage for several evenings. The format deliberately focuses on individual international acts rather than a traditional festival program with numerous concerts running simultaneously.
With the signing of Take That, the first act for the 2027 edition has now been confirmed. The band will kick off the concert series on June 3, 2027. No other names have been announced yet.
