The Rammstein singer is returning to Zurich in 2027

27/10/2026 written by Christoph Soltmannowski

On November 1, 2027, Till Lindemann will perform at the Hallenstadion in Zurich, this time as part of his world tour.

Rammstein has been on hiatus since the end of their 2024 stadium tour. “The journey continues,” the band wrote at the time. Officially, nothing more is known. Till Lindemann is filling the gap on his own. In 2025, he played 25 arena concerts in Europe as part of the “Meine Welt” tour and sold more than 200,000 tickets. In January 2026, he toured Australia solo for the first time; in July, he hosted his own “Till Fest” in Leipzig. Now comes the world tour. Zurich is on the calendar for Monday, November 1, 2027.

What Sets Lindemann Apart as a Solo Artist

Rammstein stages fire and mechanical aesthetics. Lindemann, as a solo artist, stages himself: cruder, more shrill, closer to cabaret. The songs are titled “Praise Abort,” “Ich hasse Kinder,” and “Zunge.” In between, he surprises the audience with “Übers Meer,” a ballad that, in his own words, reminds him of his mother, who passed away on October 24.

From Swimmer to Shock Rocker

Lindemann was born on January 4, 1963, in Leipzig and grew up in Mecklenburg. As a teenager, he was a competitive swimmer with SC Emperor Rostock; later, he worked as a basket weaver and played drums in the punk band First Arsch. In 1994, he founded Rammstein with Richard Kruspe and four other musicians. He also published three volumes of poetry and, starting in 2015, solo albums. “Zunge” reached No. 2 on the German charts.
