At regular intervals, we talk to a celebrity about their concert behavior. This time: presenter and former Miss Switzerland Anita Buri (38).
What was the last event you spent money on?
For the Guns N' Roses concert at Letzigrund. This music accompanied me through my youth. Stars in Town and the Moon&Stars Festival are also a recurring theme. I also went to see Otto Waalkes recently, I'm a big comedy fan.
You mentioned the festivals. Which do you prefer: the wellington boot festivals or the Cüpli festivals?
Variety brings that certain something. Camping at festivals is also great. Music is generally very important to me, and there are different artists to see at festivals, which is ideal. What's special is that I've never made it to OpenAir St.Gallen as I'm from Eastern Switzerland. Rain is almost a tradition there, and I'm not in the mood for mud.
What do you think of musicals?
I love musicals! I started ballet lessons at the age of six and had the dream of becoming a musical actress. Instead, I became Miss Switzerland and developed in a different direction. Dance remained a hobby. The year before last, I was still allowed on stage: I played a supporting role in the "Titanic" musical on Lake Walen.
What was the best concert of all time for you?
I've seen Lionel Richie live four times and I've always really enjoyed it. The concerts always had a very personal atmosphere, I was 100 percent there. I would also like to see Lionel Richie a fifth time.
Have you ever left an event early?
Yes, once. Funnily enough, it was at a musical. It just didn't grab me, so I went home during the interval. Maybe I got up on the wrong side of the bed that day. I usually stay seated until the end of the show.
