Following the example of James Corden's Carpool Karaoke, Tim Bendzko regularly meets guests in his car. In this week's edition, Peter Maffay takes a seat in the passenger seat.
Tim Bendzko has long been able to do what James Corden can do: under the motto #TimTrifft, the 31-year-old singer invites two weekly German artists into his car. Glasperlenspiel and Curse have already taken a seat in the car, now it was Peter Maffay's (67) turn.
Among other things, the two talk in the car about a strange encounter Bendzko had with Maffay on the street, or about the egg from which Maffay hatches at the Tabaluga concerts.
Tim Bendzko on board for Peter Maffay's latest Tabaluga project
Tim Bendzko is on board for Peter Maffay's latest Tabaluga project: "Es Lebe die Freundschaft" is the name of the latest prank, which will be touring the German-speaking world in the fall with 64 concerts. The 31-year-old recorded the song "Ich bin Tabaluga" with Maffay for the current CD. The track is one of the five new songs in the new program. Bendzko already made a guest appearance on the "Tabaluga und die Zeichen der Zeit" tour in 2012.
Peter Maffay will make a stop at the Hallenstadion Zurich with the latest Tabaluga show on December 17. A guest appearance by Gölä (48) has been confirmed so far.
Tim Bendzko can also be seen in Zurich soon: Next May, he will be performing songs from his new album "Immer noch Mensch", among others.
