"I have a huge amount of experience with children in almost all situations," Bond continues. "The best compliments come a few months after the show. That's when a character from my play suddenly becomes a figure of identification. This entertainment factor is very important for children. Because it quickly becomes a part of children's lives. That's what happened to me back then with 'The Wizard of Oz'. And nowadays, a six-year-old might have their first contact with pirates thanks to me."
Melodious compositions
With over 700,000 records sold, Andrew Bond is one of the most successful children's songwriters and musicians in Switzerland today. Even if some adults may not know him or not yet know him, children know and sing his songs inside out. It is impossible to imagine many family rooms, kindergartens and classrooms without his compositions.
