German singer Michelle (45) stopped off at the Volkshaus Zurich on her "I'd do it again" tour. The audience got what they wanted: A big party full of pop hits. It was extremely emotional.
Two years after her last concert in Switzerland, Michelle took to the stage at the Volkshaus Zurich on Thursday with her new tour, all in black. "Wir feiern das Leben" opened the concert.

Many songs from the new album - which has the same name as the tour - made it into the setlist, but fans of old hits didn't miss out either. Michelle gave the audience a heartfelt moment when she brought two children on stage.
Emotional moment with two girls and the little princess
The two girls were allowed to sit next to Michelle on a sofa and sing "Little Princess" with her. As a thank you, they were allowed to stay on the sofa for the entire first half and received autograph cards and souvenir photos.

Michelle performed the duet "Idiot" with her ex-boyfriend together with a volunteer from the audience. The 43-year-old Tommy M. knew almost all the lyrics by heart, with the backing singer helping out in difficult passages.
Four costumes in two and a half hours
Michelle changed her dress a total of four times. Her six-piece band bridged the breaks between changes, including a rendition of the Cup song from the movie "Pitch Perfect". Michelle's wardrobe ranged from black leather to black glitter trousers, from an ultra-short jeans-style dress to a silver glitter dress. The latter to match her Eurovision anthem "Wer Liebe Lebt".

After around two and a half hours - including the break - and three encores, it was all over. And the last song probably spoke from the soul of many visitors in relation to the Michelle concert: "I would do it again"
