Rafael Beutl: "I only go to open air with men"

30/08/2016 written by Michel Imhof
In each issue of our magazine event. we talk to a celebrity about their concert behavior. This time with model, presenter and former bachelor Rafael Beutl.
How often do you go to concerts?

I'm a real concert goer. I think open air concerts are particularly cool because you can see several artists at once.
Do you have a favorite festival?

Yes, the Open Air Gampel. I've been going there almost every year for twelve years. The atmosphere there is very special because many of the visitors have to travel a long way to get away from it all. The mix of artists is very diverse, which I also like. And the weather was always nice!
Wellies or Cüpli?

I have no problem with dirt. But I don't want to sleep in a tent anymore. I'd rather sleep in the car. And I have to have a shower in the morning, I can't do without it.
Who do you go to the festival with?

I usually go with my colleagues. They are uncomplicated. Women often complained about the temperatures being too cold or too hot, the dirt or the hygiene conditions - my friends don't do that.
What has been your best concert experience so far?

The Toten Hosen back then at Open Air Gampel. You can sing along to every song, so the atmosphere was great. Campino climbed up the stage, lit pyrotechnics and even ran through the audience.
Do you also watch musicals?

Yes, my favorite musicals include "Mamma Mia!", "I've Never Been to New York" and "The Rocky Horror Show". With the latter, I like the fact that the audience is integrated into the show and everything is totally crazy: you even get to throw toilet paper around and squirt with water pistols!
