Smooching on the hood, popcorn on the back of a pick-up truck: the TCS Drive-In Movies in Hinwil is offering an original American cinema experience for young and old from this Saturday until next Sunday evening: watching movies on the big screen - in your own car. You can enjoy
typical American food and drink stands.
Whether alone, with your sweetheart or the whole family: the TCS Drive-InMovies in Hinwil in the Zurich Oberland is an original excursion destination in late summer. This is the second time that the TCS has organized this event, which originated in America in the 1950s: back then, it was cult to drive to an open-air cinema in your own car and watch a film there in your own vehicle.
Action, comedy, a car movie and films for the whole family
The program is colourful and varied and offers a wide range of entertaining films, from comedy to action and animated films.
This Saturday afternoon at 4.30 p.m., "Alvin and the Chipmunks" dance across the big screen and are replaced in the evening at 9 p.m. by Daniel Craig alias James Bond in the latest Bond movie "Spectre".
Tomorrow Sunday, 21.08.16 at 9 p.m., a film that is 100% suitable for drive-in movies: "Only 60 seconds left" is a movie about a master car thief, played by Nicolas Cage, who has to steal fifty cars within three days in Long Beach, California.
