Cro not only inspires on stage, but soon also on the big screen. Now the trailer for "Our time is now" reveals what the movie is about.
The heartthrob Cro will not only be wowing his fans at concerts in future, but also at the movies. Til Schweiger is producing a movie that is all about the German rapper. And he's also starring in it.
With the release of the trailer, the plot of the film was also revealed: Cro is holding a film competition in which three young filmmakers can devise and realize a project based around the rapper.
The three finalists have different projects: One wants to realize a comic film about Cro's past, one finalist is making a documentary about the rapper's current life, and one finalist wants to show the panda rapper in the future in his film.
Special: Although the film is a feature film, it also gives an insight into the life of the German panda rapper. That's why the film was called "Cro - Don't Believe the Hype" at the start of shooting.
Til Schweiger will not only act as producer, but also in a supporting role in the film. David Schütter, Peri Baumeister and Marc Benjamin can be seen in the leading roles.
"Our Time is Now" will be released in cinemas on October 6, 2016.
