His voice gives you goosebumps - and his story is sure to be made into a movie soon: Doug Seegers, 64 years old, has already sung a duet with Emmylou Harris, the "goddess" of country music, on his first country CD.
The charismatic singer and guitarist lives in Nashville after his divorce and fails in his attempt to return to his old days as a country musician. He lived on the streets until he was discovered by the successful Swedish country singer Jill Johnson.
She produced his first song "Going down to the river" with him in a studio in Nashville. Since then, Doug Seegers has sung duets with Jill (recorded on CD: Tandem) and, as already mentioned, with Emmylou Harris, appeared on television shows and also gives fantastic live concerts.
