What's different this year

Allmend Rockt presents Sonisphere will take place over two days this year, with top-class rock and metal bands at a new location - on the Allmend in Lucerne with a view of Mount Pilatus.

What sets the festival apart

With over 70,000 visitors on both days, it will be the biggest rock spectacle in Switzerland. Rammstein and Iron Maiden will make the Pilatus shake.

The festival is now taking place on the other side of the lake, namely on the Landiwiese in Wollishofen. There will be an open public viewing area for football fans. In addition, the party area and the attractive catering offer will also be open to the public.

The connection to Zürifäscht 2016 guarantees a party. The location is unique: right on the shores of Lake Zurich with the best view of the three Zürifäscht fireworks displays.

Cro, the rapper with the panda mask, will be performing an exclusive unplugged show at the Summerstage Festival 2016 for the first time. Joe Bonamassa, the absolutely exceptional guitarist, 77 Bombay Street, who won the Golden Ticket Award 2015 after their successful "Seven Mountains" tour.
