Eyes closed, head cinema on. With GoGo Penguin, melodies automatically become stories. The trio from Manchester creates its own world of sound with piano, bass and drums. Vocals are deliberately omitted.
GoGo Penguin's music is jazz, peppered with pop and drum'n'bass. The trio is revered by critics as masters of the stylistic break. The debut album "Fanfares" was followed by the Mercury Prize-nominated work "v.2.0". And at some point, GoGo Penguin's music is bound to find itself on the soundtrack of Hollywood movies.
