Hildegard learns to fly

The whole world is amazed that such an avant-garde band as "Hildegard lernt fliegen" comes from Switzerland, but it's quite simple: six friends make really good crossover vocal jazz.
Bandleader and singer Andreas Schaerer (39) is as unconventional as he is expressive and talented: he imitates instruments with his voice, and together with his five fellow musicians he shines with grandiose, surprising arrangements. Schaerer has also sung together with Bobby McFerrin. The concerts of Hildegard lernt fliegen are an event, because nothing here is what you think it is. The German Echo Jazz Prize 2015 and the ZKB Jazz Prize 2008 are on Andreas Schaerer's shelf.
