On June 3, the four outrageously good-looking opera singers from Il Divo will fill the Hallenstadion Zurich with "Amor & Pasión" - with love and passion, the title of the vocal quartet's recently released seventh studio album.
Sambas, mambo and boleros: the new album contains twelve tracks with exclusively South American rhythms. The fiery mambos, boleros and Argentinian tangos are based on well-known songs by Gloria Estefan and Julio Iglesias, and even Ludwig van Beethoven. Their music has been rearranged by Il Divo.
South American star factor: Il Divo's first Latin album was produced by none other than Colombian producer and Latin Grammy Award winner Julio Reyes Copello. He also produces albums for international stars such as Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony and Alejandro Sanz.
Lets dance: During the recordings in the studio, the French singer of the quartet, Sébastien Izambard, was, as he says, "regularly swept off his feet". Now he hopes that the audience will feel the same way on his team's new tour. That they will be gripped by Amor and Pasión.
