Maxwell finally live again
With his latest album "BlackSUMMERS'night", Maxwell recently proved once again that he is still one of the best contemporary soul and R'n'B artists. An artist who is rarely seen live: his last European tour was seven years ago. "Mary is the epitome of soul," says Maxwell, looking forward to the shows with soul icon Mary J. Blige. "She embodies womanhood and is an advocate for the everyday struggles and triumphs of all women. I can't wait to be on the road with her."

There's probably not much more to say about Blige herself: The magical voice has already sold over 50 million albums in her career. A few more will be added this fall when Mary J. Blige releases her eagerly awaited new album. The bar is set high after the fantastic "The London Sessions" from 2014 - but if anyone can outdo herself again and again, it's probably Mary J. Blige, who also has nothing but warm words for her colleague Maxwell: "Maxwell's music is wonderfully soulful and calm with colorful undertones that speak to women's hearts.
