Concertgoers who have downloaded "Cuts" onto their smartphone can use it to share short instant videos in top HD quality with friends via social networks - without having to film them themselves. The videos are recorded directly by the Montreux Jazz Festival film teams and then made available. In this way, Montreux wants to offer an alternative to self-shot, often shaky videos that appear on YouTube after concerts and thus also reduce the "cell phone forest". Cuts" was developed by the technology company Kudelski. The app will be activated for some concerts at the start of the festival (July 1).
