Samsung Hall is the name of the new event location in Zurich-Dübendorf, which will host medium-sized events for 50 to 5,000 people from the end of 2016 - with an exclusive friends&members entrance.
Whether concerts, specialist congresses, award shows, gala events or general meetings - the new Samsung Hall with its three rooms Hall, Club and Loft is perfect for mid-size events with 50 to 5,000 people. Spacious foyers and terraces make the new event location even more attractive.
The hall, which is supported by private investors, is operated by the company riverside. Samsung will equip it with modern digital event and presentation technology and, in particular, provide a digital eye-catcher with a 20 x 6 meter indoor LED wall. The use of innovative LED display technology will significantly reduce power consumption.
Telescopic grandstand as a construction highlight
The infrastructure features plenty of sound, light and video equipment, a hydraulic stage that can be divided into six sections (18x10m) and a 120 m2 LED wall (4mm/5k). A structural highlight is the telescopic grandstand, which can be extended and retracted depending on the size of the event. This makes the grandstand appear more dominant or more discreet. Public and corporate events can thus be held efficiently and cost-effectively.
Separate friends&members entrance
Similar to the Hallenstadion, Ticketcorner friends&members members benefit from a separate member entrance: simply show your member card and march past the waiting crowds into Samsung Hall without having to queue. The same applies to Good News events at Volkshaus Zurich and St. Jakobshalle Basel. Admission is valid for one friends&members member and one accompanying person with their own event ticket.
