What is special about your festival this year?
We are delighted to be able to present an extremely varied program this year. Accordingly, there will be something for every musical taste.
Which acts are you particularly proud of?
The original Söhne Mannheims line-up including Xavier Naidoo and Rolf Stahlhofen.
What criteria did you use to put together the line-up?
We are trying to appeal to as wide an audience as possible this year.
What else is on offer besides the music? Culinary, for example? Other attractions?
The food mile in Murten and the many restaurants in the old town of Aarberg offer visitors an exquisite selection for every budget and every taste.
Festivals don't have a dress code. Is there anything you should still bear in mind when it comes to clothing and outfits?
Fortunately, the Stars of Sounds in Aarberg is not one of the rubber boot festivals and the unique old town offers various ways to protect yourself in bad weather. However, casual clothing suitable for the weather is of course also appropriate here.

What moment are you personally looking forward to the most?
The two festivals take place in a unique setting. Be it in Murten directly on the lake or in Aarberg in the enchanting old town. When the first notes are played on stage after long, hard days of setting up, it's the start of another intense, wonderful festival weekend. I look forward to this moment the most.
What was the most memorable/beautiful experience you've had with the festival?
When we received a cancellation from Elton John and he turned up in Murten two days late to make up for his show under a starry sky on a wonderful summer night.
