The small Lake Constance festival "SummerDays Festival" in Arbon has long been an insider tip: for two days, visitors can listen to concerts by international and national bands on open-air stages right by the lake - and those who want to can jump into Lake Constance from time to time. Big names such as Simply Red, Level 42, Faithless, ELO, Gregor Meyle and PatentOchsner guarantee two exciting and entertaining days in the most beautiful Lake Constance setting.
Friday, August 27, is all about classic rock acts in Arbon, which usually attract a somewhat older audience: From 4 p.m. until one in the morning, established rock greats give their best on the main stage by the lake: Saga, ELO, Level 42, Simply Red and finally the famous band that emerged from the new German wave in Germany in the eighties: the Spider Murphy Gang. Other bands play on a small side stage during the breaks on the main stage.

Saturday, August 28, will be opened by three Swiss bands. The young Swiss soul singer Amelie Jones will be playing on the big stage at 1 pm, followed by the chart-toppers "Yokko", a five-piece up-and-coming Swiss band who won the Swiss Music Award for "Best Talent" with their first album "Seven Seas" and are now presenting their new album "To the fighters, to the Boxers". Yokko's music is somewhere between indie pop and rock; they themselves call their sound "Atlantic Wave".
The now established Swiss pop singer Baschi complements the two Swiss newcomer bands with his concert at 4:30 pm. After him, the great German songwriter Gregor Meyle will play at 6 pm. Meyle became known to a very wide audience through Xavier Naidoo's show "Sing meinen Song". At the SummerDays Festival, he will present his new, thrilling album "New York-Stintino".
The main act of the evening is once again from Switzerland: at around 8 pm, Swiss cult band Patent Ochsner will take to the big stage by the lake - followed by British pop band "Hurts", whose song "Wonderful Life" was a global hit in 2010 and has since become an integral part of the music scene. The brilliant finale on Saturday evening will be provided by the trance band "Faithless", whose all-time techno dance hit "Insomnia" will have every dance fan on the edge of their seats.
